Like gossiping? Then you’re going to love the Nokia 6760 slide.

Well, actually, let’s qualify that: if you life gossiping in the new, virtual, not-having-to-actually-meet-people way, then you’re going to love the 6760. Because if you’re someone who stands out in your stockings, pinning the laundry up and chatting to the next door neighbour then the Nokia 6760 slide might not be up your cobbled street. Or if you enjoy whiling away 4 hours in the bakery pretending to deliberate over the white-iced iced buns, or the pink ones (it’s got to be the white ones, right, they have raisins in them!), but actually just getting all the latest news about who’s sleeping with who and who’s an alcoholic these days, then again, you probably won’t be hunting out these Nokia 6760 slide deals any time soon.

However, if, like these imaginary people above, you are not 70 years old / living in the 1950’s, then you might be interested here. Because the 6760 is one of those hella ugly phones with the slide out QWERTY keyboards that we can’t work out the appeal of but that you kids seem to get all frothy at the mouth about. And yes, we might be closer to the ’50’s than most of you, but not that close.

But then we don’t spend 90% of our waking lives glued to some form of screen or other, messaging/tweeting/facebooking/emailing/googletalking/etc’ing a bunch of people who probably live with 500m of us and would quite like to actually meet face-to-face. The Nokia 8208 should be released sometime soon and I can hardly wait to lay my hands on it. From everything that I have heard about this phone, it sounds like the phone that I have been waiting for a very long time. I have envisaged a phone with features that suit me the most and it seems like the Nokia 8208 is made from the specifications in my head.
What I wanted was a phone that could play music for many, many hours. Most phones give you good playback time, but none of them can be used for the better part of a day at a time. I tend to travel a lot and am away from my hotel room or camp for most day when I am exploring surrounding areas. But, none of the phones I have come across so far could play music the whole time I was out exploring. Its juices would run out within a few hours and I was left with no music at all.
The 8208 promises over 20 hours of music playback time! This means that whenever I go out travelling, I can be assured of music every waking hour! And, what makes it better is that along with the 150 MB internal memory, the back up memory of Press images can be expanded up to 8 GB. This means that I can carry a large collection of my music along with me and will never run out of fresh tunes to listen to.
Additionally, the Nokia mobiles also has a high standby time- 11 days! This too is a feature perfect for travelers like me, who do not expect too many calls during their travels, but like to use some of the other features that the phone has to offer while travelling.

Nokia recently announced the 6720 Classic and it looks like it must be worth the hype. It has been designed for clarity in camera, screen, and voice functions. The phone is curved to fit perfectly to your face and is equipped with active noise cancellation. A feature that appears for the first time.

The Nokia mobiles has a great battery life of up to 20 days stand by time, during which you can access high speed internet, and the phone’s TV-out connection, enabling you to share photos and video.

A sleek grey/black, the Nokia 6720 Classic looks as great as it feels, and functions even better. It is a traditional candybar phone that fits perfectly into your hand – a refreshing change from the new slider, and flip phones that are flooding the market these days. The keys are in classic Nokia layout, making navigation, as always, familiar and convenient.

The Nokia 6720 Classic has recently integrated Maps and Ovi which enable you to plan trips at home on your personal computer and then load the directions on to the phone for use while driving. The Maps software has been updated to include high-resolution aerial images and 3D landmarks for cities all over the world. The navigation system has been tweaked for ease of use for pedestrians, a quick tip of the hat to Nokia for recognizing the widest used mode of transport – the feet. We have spent a bit of time looking at the various Nokia Handsets that are available at the moment and have compiled a quick list of the 5 best Nokia mobile phones that are currently available, or that are soon to be released by the Mobile phone giant. We have tried to present a range of handsets, from budget handsets, to the top of the range, all singing all dancing Nokia phones. Do let us know if you think there should be other models included here.
1) The Nokia N97. Ok it isn’t out just yet, but when it finally released in Q2 of this year, you can expect it to go down a storm. It uses the latest Symbian OS and promises to offer a much smoother experience for the user. This will also be Nokia’s 2nd foray into the touch screen market… watch out Iphone
2) The Nokia 5800. We might be a little touch screen crazy here at Nokia Blogged, but we love the 5800. It is also cheaper than the Nokia N97, so you do get a lot for your money here. The other great thing about the Nokia 5800 is that it comes with Nokia’s new “comes with music” service, allowing unlimited downloads of your favourite tracks. An excellent mid range proposition in our opinion.
3) The Nokia 6208 Classic is set to replace the older, slightly slimmer 6500 Classic. It promises to be a big seller on pay as you go as it offers great features for a very good price.
4) The Nokia 6260 Slide is a great little phone for those of you who like your slider phones. It comes with 3G and GPS so you can be sure to never get lost again. A fantastic little handset with decent price tag.
5) The Nokia 6300 – Yes it’s an old timer now, but this phone is fantastically reliable and has an excellent battery life. You can also get this handset with some great free gifts if you shop around.

Nokia’s 6260 Slide. A Great Device All Round

The brand new Nokia 6260 Slide is a great new phone which offers a huge set of high quality features. The phone is equipped with a good set of features including a 5 mega pixel camera, a media player and high speed internet. I’ve also seen a Nokia 6260 review which seems to suggest that this phone is definitely worth the purchase because it has a good set of high quality features as well as a great design on the exterior. I have to say that I really like this phone and I think it’s a great purchase for personal users.
I’ve also seen a lot of Nokia 6260 slide pay as you go deals available and I think that as we get closer to Christmas we’ll probably see a lot of pay as you go mobile phones in general. Also, as we get to the January sales you should be able to get a lot of bargain deals. I’ve also seen that the Nokia 6260 on contract is available for free on most networks and that is always a great thing to see. All in all, the Nokia 6260 Slide is a great phone which definitely has a good set of features as well as great looks.
Overall, the Nokia 6260 Slide is a great looking phone which is very stylish and I think that it’ll do very well in terms of sales this year and next year. I’ve also seen a Nokia 6260 slide video which is definitely worth watching because it’ll give you a closer look at the phone in detail and it’ll allow you to see the phone in action before you buy it. I’ve got to say I love this phone and I think it’ll do very well in terms of sales and it’ll remain a popular phone for a long time to come.

The Nokia 6555 – A Quick Glance

The Nokia 6555 is a phone that was released in late 2007 and offers personal users a good set of features in a low to mid range handset. The phone is equipped with a 1.23 mega pixel camera, high speed internet and a media player so you can watch videos and listen to music. All in all, the phone has a great set of features for a low to mid range phone and it appears to be good value for money in general. I’ve seen a Nokia 6555 review and it seems to suggest that this phone is as good as it looks on paper in reality. In my opinion, it’s definitely worth the purchase and is good value for money.
I’ve also seen a lot of Nokia 6555 pay as you go deals available and it seems like you can get this phone for a great price. I’ve also seen that the Nokia 6555 on contract is available for free on most networks and that is always a nice thing to see. I really like this phone and I think as we get closer to Christmas, pay as you go mobile phones in general are getting better and better so by the time the January sales hit the shops you should be able to get yourself a great deal.
Overall, the Nokia 6555 is a great phone with a great set of features and it’ll probably continue to do well in sales because it’s an attractive phone as well. I’ve seen a Nokia 6555 video which is definitely worth watching if you’re interested in this phone because they’ll give you a clearer idea of what the phone has to offer and it’ll also allow you to see the phone in action before you buy it. All in all, I’d definitely recommend the Nokia 6555 phone to personal users throughout the UK.
