There is a strong indication that Nokia’s next biggest thing in terms of Mobile device has been unveiled to the internet with full details of specs and pics accompanying.
This device is the N87 (based on the information received) which is designed to work with a 12MP camera and would also make use of a high-end touch screen too. It has basic similarities as the N86 with a 3.2 in capacitive screen and an extraordinary high resolution 800 x 480 WVGA which would improve navigation and make picture viewing delightful. There is also a likelihood of fast picture capturing as it has a small slogan at the bottom ‘capture as it happens’. The 12MP sensor has a dual LED and a Xenon flash to aid picture taking and improve picture quality.
Its processor speed has been the talking point of the town as it is believed that Nokia should have improved it after all it’s 600 MHz processor can’t be regarded as fast enough for this present age and since it would not be launched till the 3rd quarter of next year, then there is definitely no reason why Nokia shouldn’t take its time to release a faster device that would be welcomed and accepted by all.
From the pictures leak, it was discovered to have a touch screen so this strikes out the presence of a physical keyboard although it is expected that a slide will be allowed for the multimedia keys. There are more arguments from users who prefer the keypad as they believe it to be more accurate and nicer when having to type lengthy text messages.
One can do nothing but await the eventual release of this device with upgraded so sternly debated but I expect more classy releases from Nokia come next year.
The new Nokia N86 8mp is a step forward from the current Nokia N85. The main difference here is the camera, with the new Nokia N86 coming complete with an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash and carl Zeiss optics.
Judging by its looks, it is almost identical to the N85, however the specs have been upgraded to suit the updated technology that is now available. One particular feature that is worth noting is the new Ovi service that allows you to share photo’s with your friends. You can read more about this on the official page. The Nokia N86 also comes with Geo Tagging and GPS navigation, a standard on all N-series phones nowadays. The big difference here from the previous N85 is most certainly the camera. It doesn’t have quite as much to offer as the Nokia N97 that we talked about a while ago, but as a mid range mobile phone it should do the trick.
The Nokia N86 comes with a 2 way slide mechanism, that allows for dedicated gaming and camera keys. This is a similar design feature that can be found on many of the N-series phones. Nokia have also thrown in Nokia maps meaning you will never get lost again (assuming that you can get reception).
Other improvements on the Nokia N86 are an OLED display that is scratch resistant using hardened glass. This is something that I personally really appreciate. I found that my old N96 got scratched pretty easily. Overall if you are looking at new mobile phone deals at the moment, then the N86 is a great middle of the range N-series handset.
